Meditation in the morning
Amidst song
Of Finch, Chickadee, Titmouse, or Robin.
Break my fast
With Buddha, Beethoven, Grieg, or Mozart.
Work the live-long day
To Stevie Ray, Eric, Delbert, or Van.
And measure my mood
With Tito’s, Jack’s, Sam’s, or Lagunitas
In the eventide.
