Mom Poem by Pradip Chandra Das

Mom

Rating: 5.0

Mom, my soul I feel still
Once in your womb took the mold
Grown gradually in the red
Red the life formed the flesh
Treble your trouble happily you bore

Mom, you took around all the time
Left not nothing to fear keeping me
Near yourheart andlove to bear
The way you live I live longing
Sitting by a brook or beneath the shadow

Mom you feel your nectar in
Or out together with mom the earth
Dream you designed with the soil
Under open sky or among the woods
Or the field with crops green or gold.

Mom, your hug divine lullaby
Tears of pearls you made it
Given all the beauty shown all the grace
Life is now is you only I swear
Praying you live long and long me
Like the river long ocean deep
Like the sky blue or the star bright
You do mom, you do...
