Moment Of Silence Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

Moment Of Silence

The world holds its breath,
a pause between heartbeats.
Air thick with stillness,
like fog resting on a quiet lake.

No birds call,
no engines hum,
no voices rise in argument or song.
Time slows,
its hands suspended mid-sweep.

A space opens,
wide and heavy,
where thought hesitates,
where meaning lingers.

Here, absence speaks louder than sound,
and the weight of nothing presses gently,
reminding us to listen.
