Moon Shadows Poem by David Harris

Moon Shadows

Rating: 5.0

Moon shadows drift across
my bedroom window cill at night
just as the sandman sprinkles
his stardust dreams around my head.
I spiral into loving dreams
with you within my arms.
The moon shadows play
across my window
while I am deep in dreams
that sends me to exotic places
with you always at my arm.
We run along sandy beaches
where the palm trees grow.
The island of my dreams
that always comes to me
when the moon shadows show.
