Moonlit Symphony Poem by Christopher Forrister

Moonlit Symphony

And the moonlight carries the echoes
the face outshines the stars
from the faintest sight of heaven
to the red light shine of mars
All is peace in the deepend night
shadows ill at ease
for the moon so full and shining bright
will chase them from the trees
Let the pale light dance
as the crickets chirp the dew
the curtain has yet to fall
for the night is still yet new
the moonlight carries the echoes
the symphony...
has just begun.
