Mamihlapinatapai Poem by Christopher Forrister

Mamihlapinatapai

The breeze whispers softly from the windows
whispers of things that can be
Desperately clinging, words left unsaid
two souls for one eye that can see
Live in the moment, yet the moment is here
as the breeze fades loudly away
Four eyes locked tightly will grovel
Their words have nothing to say
