Morano - Poem by David Blake

Sipping loneliness from a bottle that never seems to empty I am again lost in a Spanish melody. Shadows dance in the half light of memories and dreams. Shapes formed and lost visions of lust and pain dusty thieves chocking on innocence. Inside my heart or maybe even deeper inside my soul an ache so perverse that it threatens me in a way that I can’t explain, yet I long for more. Maybe death or perhaps a profound sense of truth could save me. I have nothing more of this place save the bottle and the erotic melody of the Spanish goddess singing this song.
