More do want and it to wish,
A turning of a clock back.
To a time they had wasted,
Having that more...
Of themselves to give to others.
Those 'others' disparaged.
Neglected to reject,
As family members of human beings.
The ones having to tolerate,
A sacrificing of their identities.
And dignities not to receive respect.

Today?
The more who do want,
Are made to sit and evaluate.
Their diminishing entitlements.
And escapades from reality to escape,
To places once capable to afford...
Ignoring truth and proof of it.
And difficult it must be,
These days to awaken and realize...
The ease of selfishness to feed it,
Has gone and replaced their 'normalcy'.

Yet...
Hope many do in denial to refuse,
A 'normalcy' to have it missed...
Has already gone.
From them to leave no longer to exist.
Regardless how much more do want,
To impress and flaunt.
But those times to have lived them,
Only in their minds will remain reminisced.
And that 'normalcy' wished,
Lost to history.
Forgotten to forget it!
