More, More Are Deranged Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

More, More Are Deranged

Rating: 5.0

Some episodes extended,
Must conclude and come to an end!
Those cowboy chases in midnight raids...
Has lost public applause,
Its effect, cause and awe!

A restlessness begins.
And the initial heated pace,
Sends messages to slow down the race.
A regrouping is needed and must take place!

Some are seen deranged.
When the deeds and the actions are strange.
And so much observed has discouraged the herd.
As the skies seem more cloudy each day!

Some are seen deranged.
When the deeds and the actions are strange.
And so much observed...
Has discouraged the herd.
As the skies seem more cloudy each day!

Some episodes extended,
Must conclude and come to an end!
Those cowboy chases in midnight raids...
Has lost public applause,
Its effect, cause and awe!

More, more are deranged.
When the deeds and the actions are strange.
And so much observed...
Seem to conflict with words.
And the bright minds behind this
Decay!

Oh more, more are deranged!
When the deeds and the actions are strange.
And so much observed...
Seem to conflict with words.
And the bright minds,
Behind this...
Decay!

And the bright minds,
Behind this...
Decay!

My Version: Abilene, oh Abilene, craziest Cowboy town you've ever seen... People here, they treat you sort of obscene, not my Abilene, not my Abilene! Loved your words. Describes exactly, in your song, our town, our neighborhood! Livin' La Vidat Loca Abilene! Regards, T
