What can it be,
the deepest
longing in your life?

Is it money, fame
and prestige, or
is it something else?

Some speak of
the longing for
a long life, others
of more time and peace,
of health, of the longing
for home or for a loved one.

Most of the time,
our inner longing
has nothing to do
with earthly, visible
realities and
tangible things.

It is the deep question
of the meaning of it all
the deep desire for a real,
precious and successful life.

There has to be more to life
than all that is material.
