Morna Freshdawn
EACH DAY COMES
A NEW DAWN
morn after morn
newer humans are born
by the millions
the dawn just lasts
that long
nothing is permanent
O my poet
one day you too
will not see
a new dawn
when
no one knows
one day
yes, some day
even though
if it may not be today
but of that morn
no human
no god
no unknown DIVINITY
can ever say
with mind games
you play
but sun will rise as always
a minus me
maybe
may not
till that unknown day
just a horizon away
so, meditate and pray
you may see the sun as always
young as be
you may
DAWN
BORN
LIFE
THEN GONE

It reminds me one of Tagore's songs " Jokhon porbena mor payer chihno" (when my footprint will never be seen on this Earth) Nice poem..1000++
