You can go to Mother
And share your every thought.
She listens understandingly,
As a mother ought.

Full of compassion,
She is a work of art.
And reaching out in love,
She comforts every heart.

As a hen takes her chicks
Beneath her caring wings,
Mother keeps her children
From harmful thing.

And like the shining rainbow
All lovely and so fair,
A mother’s love and beauty
Are seen everywhere.

Mother is strong
And she is very wise.
Her prayers are powerful—
Piercing the skies.

Her love is consistent,
She will always be there
To protect and guide,
Like the mother that cares.
