Mother Earth Poem by Almedia Knight-Oliver

Mother Earth

Rating: 5.0

The sun slowly sinks below her golden borders
as darkness falls over all life form.

Tears of compassion spring up as she watches over her children: the
Squirrels and birds and the tiniest insects; her helpful angleworms
and worthless plants all lay sleeping on her tummy.

She reaches up to the sky, closes the golden gate, and
turns off the light.

Then, In infinite love and care, she
places her finger on her lips, and
orders silence everywhere.

She lay awake pondering
on the morrow.

Ma’am your max outstretched imagination I’d say ‘Sky is not limit but just nanus’. Motherly emotion deluging and it’s a cataclysm… did you get Motherhood? Well I’m conferring you that Motherhood...me a wee poet daughter Voted 10 Ms. Nivedita UK PS: ‘Then, In infinite love and care, she/places her finger on her lips, and/orders silence everywhere.’ Ma’am I’ll not read any poem today as I’ve to make a nervous-association with these lines… n

How imaginative Ms Knight. A very wonderful poem with a very unique description of scientific patterns of the earth that revolves and in between all its round curls it presents these Natural shifts very artfully. It is indeed a very pleasant thought when one imagines all the functionalities of the Mother Earth that is bestowed with countless beauties....
