Mother's Day Poem by Shaun Cronick

Mother's Day

Rating: 5.0

At the end of the beautiful month of March,
There's a special day set aside.
A day when mums all over the world,
Are gazed on with joy and pride.

All year long mum is a wonderful gem,
A teacher who knows everything.
But isn't it nice on this special day,
To let her hear the praises we sing.

She provides for our wants with no thought of her own,
She guides us whenever we stray.
She protects us from harm along life's path,
So lets thank mum on her special day.

She teaches us how to play the game,
To always help others in need.
To play for the team and not ourselves,
A wonderful, workable creed.

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
Her comforting arms enfold us.
She has a pat on the back for a job well done,
And her love even when she must scold us.

So let's give a hand to all the mums,
God gives to us only one.
So cherish her dearly and thank her with love,
For the wonderful job she has done.
