Election time and Trump is no longer smug,
A presidential aide has given him the bug.
He and his wife must now self isolate,
What's to become of his re-election fate...
How will his opponent respond to the news,
Publicly he will deliver polite just dues.
Behind closed doors his thoughts his own,
Perhaps of reaching a political milestone...
The rich and powerful the high and mighty,
Now laid fallible and frail for all to see.
Providence teaches all today simply one thing,
That equality is shared, by commoner or king.
I have just finished Mary L Trumps book. Didn't want it to end. A great title Shaun, It is going to be even more interesting now. Good luck America.
Soran my friend and also most talented poet thank you. I added yet another stanza but it hasn't registered yet so if you're reading this it is as follows: -... The rich and powerful the high and mighty, Now laid fallible and frail for all to see. Providence teaches all today simply one thing, That equality is shared, by commoner or king. I hope it finds you good Soran and finds you well. Your friend Shaun.
He is an actor and reality show moghul. He wants to win through sympathy of his supporters. I am sure its a hoax because are looking not rosy for him
My brother and my friend the talented poet Shaun, thank you for this well penned poem, but unfortunately because of the wrong policies of the ruling political parties and leaders, the conditions of human rights and freedoms are worsening day after day. I hope the people listen to your human poems, so that the world can stabilize in peace, going forward in brotherhood and humanity, you are so wonderful with kind regards and top mark

Yes Trump has made himself look like a right plonker! Yet ironically, I still think he will win, as Biden has dementia and Trump definitely knows how to play to his base. Whichever of these corrupt clowns wins, one thing is for sure it's really bad for true democracy. It's certainly a failed States inspired five from me!
