Mothers Day Without A Mother! Poem by Emma Jane Rae

Mothers Day Without A Mother!

I watched you trample,
my heart in to the ground,
cried silent tears,
and never made a sound,
you manage to affect me,
everytime,
i only express my anger,
in a simple rhyme,
i could shout and scream,
but that only causes more harm,
i could challenge you to a fight,
pretend to be Amir Khan,
i look everywhere for answeres,
but they are never there,
it just all comes back to me,
and my vacant stare,
if ponly you could understand,
what you've done to my,
dad, my brother, my sister, - the whole family,
ifeel sad coz it's mothers day,
and you not here,
coz you moved away,
so you weren't here to share,
your special day,
i went to both my nannas,
and i thought of you,
and i wondered if you knew,
that on this mothers day,
i was thinking of you!
