Moths Rhyme In The Stillness Poem by Doris Cornago

Moths Rhyme In The Stillness

Rating: 5.0

Like a moth seeking the light
A close sight is a death flight
Let me see what's inside me
And take notes for posterity

Sky is overcast but won't last
Stars will come out in overdrive
Silence will overrule the world
Listening, my heart will unfold

Am too enraptured by the spell
Magnificent sky soon will tell
Multitude of secrets overflow
In images, undefined until now

Life and death unfiltered in time
Multiverses merge in this prime
Knowledge flow within the brine
Reborn with the stillness, rhyme

For all poets seeking to rhyme,
pursue the light no matter

Moths Rhyme In The Stillness
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Up on the roof deck, I see the truth about me and the universe. Everything that life brings could be inconsequential if we cannot define the truth about what life is. So, in a poetic rush, revealed what's on my mind.
