Mountains Beckon In Life Shadow Dances Poem by Terence George Craddock

Mountains Beckon In Life Shadow Dances

Rating: 5.0

mountains beckon
rock heights high places
high ground scans

herd hunter plains
written in male hunter
primeval warrior

paint body blood rituals
born in extreme winter necessity
hunt kill survival dramas

ritual mystic summoning herds
ritual mystic honouring prey animals
ritual mystic honouring life forces

breathing living blood tissues
eaten absorbed into hunter bodies
spirits mingle in life shadow dances

Love it. There's no place I'd rather be than in the mountains (except in the winter) !
