Move On Up Poem by Ellie Sutton

Move On Up

Realisation number one;

I don't know my own future,
And time's erased my past,
I'll never even know how long
My time on earth will last.

So it's time to move on up,
And grasp life with both hands.
Time is short and life is sweet,
But falls away like sand.

No more detours,
Deliberation,
Distractions;
Excuses won't excuse me now.
Let's laugh,
Let's love,
Let's LIVE a bit.

Make a change. Rearrange.

(Okay, I nicked a couple of lines from an old poem. But the message is still there bubz ;))
