Mr. Emotional Poem by David Darbyshire

Mr. Emotional

Rating: 5.0

When everyone is laughing I am certain to cry
If everything is as it should I’ll defiantly sigh
While all are weeping it follows I will surely beam
I even get emotional in each and every dream

My emotions swirl like leaves in the wind
Often wishing I was born thick-skinned
Addressing the smallest problem I start pulling out my hair
Just couldn’t imagine living calm relaxed and without a care

I know it’s possible that one lives happy carefree
Alas for some persons it’s just not meant to be
I am the one that feels much better talking on the phone
Because I do not get emotional within my safety zone
