Much Too Old And Too Lazy Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Much Too Old And Too Lazy

You wanna go to bed early,
And get up late.
You wanna make demands,
And not appreciate.
You want to say what you wanna,
And think you are great.
But today is that day,
No more mistakes you make.

You are much too old and too lazy for me.
And today is that day no more mistakes you make.
You're going to do something around here if you want to eat.
Because today is that day no more mistakes you make.
You're going to clean your room and sweep the floor.
Because today is that day no more mistakes you make.
You're gonna do as I say or get your own place.

You wanna go to bed early,
And get up late.
You wanna make demands,
And not appreciate.
Tired of you,
I am.

You want to say what you wanna,
And think you are great.
But today is that day,
No more mistakes you make.

Tired of you,
I am.
You are much too old and too lazy for me.
Tired of you,
I am.
You are much too old and too lazy for me.
Tired of you,
I am.
