You know that
you're getting
old
when you
realise
your parents
were
right.

It does
all sound
the
bloody
same.

yes this is true, the bends that once said so much now seem fat washed up wrecks, when i was younger, the Levellers, Manics, Doors, seemed like my saviours, nowdays its so very hard to manage to reach that place, it does all sound the same, once something is digested so many times it becomes almost tastless. I am forever now looking for that one tune that will take me away, make me angry, hate the world, disect the lyrics. Like the addict searches the streets looking for that one time, orgasmic high, never to find it again, always, always searching. Jazz, and blues, are slowly making me feel again, but I am with you, those tunes that hit us as a child have been blunted by our worldliness (is that a word if not it is now! ! ! ! !) any how fine poem fine point, great writer. best wishes vincent.

You are listening to the wrong music Neil, how can it? There is so much to choose from man! lol Get with it....That is hippy talk ya know? If the above happens to me, I've told my kids where I keep the poison! rofl I must admit to really enjoying the British and American music scene a great deal, a real diversity, some great bands and so many excellent female singers around. You need to get your finger on the buttons again. I never turn mine off! Dancing up the wooden stairs to bedfordshire, Tai
