I wanted to love you
I still do
But every day i meet you
i see many sides of you
Dont know who you are
You can be sweet bitter
Bitter sweet even acidic
Toxic and ascerbic
Delicious like caviar
Other days cavalier
Psychedelic even
Then caustic in the evening
Must i study chemistry?

Like a flash of lightning
It's frightening
You say words so hurtful
Ignite an inferno in my mind
So unkind.
You remind me
After all ive done
Of your deceased love
Must i die to measure up?
