Must Pray Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Must Pray

Must pray

Windows are open, down
-spring is welcomed.

On trees and bushes
-smile half-opened buds.

Slowly swim swans
-elegant, dignified.

The sun is generous
-high above, in sky…

The colours are bright
-on leaves and on brides
-who march on, or, crawl.

The zippers have opened…
The sleeves have shortened…
The parrot is skirts copier…
The legs, arms appear…
The same with cleavage…

Neither am I jealous
-nor stingy; can I?

I shall and must pray:
- "Always be spring."
