My Angel The Lover Poem by Ana Z. M.

Once I saw an angel with a broken wing,
a piece of heaven was left alone,
this angel had no force to go back.

My angel then told me he needed me,
My answer was,
I am no angel you can trust on.

He told me that he needed me to stay alive,
that maybe I was no angel to him,
but that I was his own piece of heaven.

With a broken wing, laying on the ground,
I saw through his dark inocent eyes,
my angel became a lover,
and I became the beloved one.

This couldn't happen.
He was an angel, I was demon.
I was going to hurt him,
But he no longer fear that,
the only thing he could take care of was his love.

My heart broke into pieces,
but while the pieces were falling I understood,
I am no angel,
but I could love..

Suddenly I felt in love with the angel,
''The lion felt in love with the lamb''
The demon became angel,
a lover,
another being...

Love can make us change,
it can heal wounds,
and create new ones too..
It will take us to new places,
it will have no pride,
It will have no prejudice,
love will only happen,
and as my angel,
sometimes we have to break a wing,
to reach what we love.
