My Black Poem Written With My Pink Pen Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

My Black Poem Written With My Pink Pen

I am writing a silky, sassy black poem...
Sultry black,
Quiet midnight black,
Gliding through the night black
Making musical sounds black
Sweet laughing black.
Catching falling stars and chasing moonbeams
To exchange for lover's kisses black.
Rich diamond black
Rich earth black
Warm smiling black
Rich with wisdom black
Strong back bone black
Got to make it black
No more crying black!
Writing my black poem with my pink pen
To introduce to the world, the treasure black lends to the
Circle of love, God given.
