My Childhood Niche Poem by Varsha M

My Childhood Niche

Way way back in days old
When I was a little kid
Nothing did I ever miss.

The ground that's barren land
Was once the famous chirping board
Where we laughed, we played, we did.

The old brooding thick trunks
Once bore all our weights
As we climbed, rub and kiss.

The air that's so still
Was never like this feel
Quiet and serene in those days.

Laughter of expression echoed
Pranks of victory tuned
Breeze was never free to even sneeze.

Beautiful was the glow we bore
Ever since we began to explore
Multitudes of strikes that made us galore.

Learning in a way I desire
Touching every bit as I figure
That today, I stand, mentally stable.

Expression of my complete self
Made me more confident in my own self
As I recollect those lessons that even work today.
