My Crowded Days Poem by Ehsan Ehsan

My Crowded Days

MY CROWDED DAYs
My crowded days are sitting idle
In the balcony of my memories past
Perhaps they want to repose like me
In the old cage of their bodies worn
Perhaps they don't want that I recall
The hectic efforts that they made
Of going to the village groves in morn
And find out doves for my hunting haunt
With my ghulail, a homemade hunting device
And keep on running after them
When they had already flown away
And if I had some chance to hit a dove
It was still somewhat difficult for me
To taste its meat for many wants
And also perhaps those days disdained
To come to the present crowed of boys
Who are busy in their video games?
Because in the present times the boys
Don't want to play in streets together
They find it a better exercise for them
To keep their minds active for the time
And keep their bodies loose and lazy
To me is now only left to bring to mind
Those crowded days that had been mine!
