My Dancing Heart Poem by Jean Dament

My Dancing Heart

Rating: 5.0

The silence is broken when the tamberine bells ring,
It's sound tingles making my soul sing;
And then I'm lifted higher when the flute tunes in,
With it's hauntingly beautiful echo calming me within;
While a harp creates harmony across it's strings,
My heart starts to dance in waves from the music it brings,
The drums are pounding deeply in my chest like a heart beat;
And the voilins softly add their trilling sound so sweet,
The melody soothes my soul like a lullaby
Touching my senses that cause me to cry,
Lulled into a trance that takes me to a far away land;
Where I dream of wonderful tales of love so grand,
As the vibrating guitar & bagpipes resonate too;
Leaving me enraptured out on a tranquil ocean of blue
