My Dark Side



I saw my shadow today
And it filled my soul with fear
It was just like me in every way
Except what I hold dear
How I wished it would go away
But it lingers oh so near
Under the bright sun's ray
And the moon so clear
It's darkness will ever stay
Until I'm no longer here
