My Dear Damsel Poem by Abdul Wahab

My Dear Damsel

Rating: 4.8

My dear Damsel,
Please, do not respond
With letters'' hmn ‘'
To my proposal
It may be on-line
But you know I am a man
Of promise and oath
If you ask even for fun
I will go a week
Without taking a bath
In these hot summer days
But please, my dear damsel
Do not reply with ‘'hmn'
To my perusal to come
To the island of sand
Recently risen up
In the chest of a river
In this afternoon
If you cannot come
And comply
I will go to the station
And catch a new train
It would not give
Me a trouble
Or create a problem
I have less time to live
So, Less choosy I am
To adjust with;
You know
I am a man of bet
And gamble
And very fond of
Glamorous gals
Yet it does not mean
I won't put off my shirt
And rub my nose
Against a wall
If you ask me
Even for a fun
I will do sit ups
Hundred times
Holding my ears
If you wish
But my dear damsel
Do not say hmn
When I propose you
To see my profile
And ask to give a like
On my hero type photos
But do not hymn ‘'hmn''
It burns me from inside.
