My Dear Friend
Friends are many
But true friends are few
I treasure your friendship
As a true friend ought to do
The pleasure of your company
Is so very dear to me
My heart flowers in bloom
Like a lovely spring-rich tree
With every thought of you I entertain
There is cheer all over again
Starry bays and milky ways
Eagerly their secrets unchain.
