I love you, means right now
And for the rest of my life
I love you, means I’ll deal
With all the pain and strife.
It means I’ll never leave you
And always hold you down
Despite the circumstances or
The people who are around

I never thought I’d say those words
To someone besides me
But now that I feel it deep down inside
I can finally see
Why people do the things they do
Or say the things they say
Cause the meaning of those words
Engulf them in such a powerful way.

When I say I love you
Don’t just put it on a platter
Because you and I both know what truly matters
I think that you are my star
And every flower on the ground
So… when I say I love you
Know…. I will always be around.
