My Dream And - Poem by Hasmukh Amathalal

My dream

I dream a lot
And often get caught
With no relevance to life
Life to me seems like an edge of the knife

Yes, I have full trust
In the divine world and always insist
About tendering an apology
To an almighty before going to bed

This had been my practice
And I had no choice too
I see the misery and unhappiness around
But, I hold my ground well

What should I aim for?
Or declare a war
Against destiny
And remain unhappy

We got to live with the people
Even if they are struggling
Yet, believing
That God is everything
