My Dream Starlight
A poem by Paul Sebastian
Hovering dark clouds about to trip
Thunders crack after lightning's whip
Heavens warn of heavy downpour
Howling wind rattles glass panel door
On this cold solitary night's invite
I sip hot coffee and browse the net
A birth of inspiration springs, filling in
I capture the rapture of poetic feelings
In my poetic solace of the night
My candle light flickers in the wind
My hands cup the flame from dying out
My dream starlight, I cannot be without
This is my quest to follow the star
To colour the rainbow of my life
I believe and know this I can
To impact lives, and make my stand
