My Dreamland Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

My Dreamland

Since morning I have been trying hard
To find out my beautiful thing with my conscious and open eyes,
But all my efforts prove futile,
As only the ugly thing comes in my sight
And I scream in pain and anguish.
It's late night now,
Being tired and dejected I fall asleep,
In my pleasant bed,
I dream my beautiful thing,
It comes spontaneously in my tranquil mind with its delightful appearance,
What a wonderful feeling!
It's only my beautiful thing, my beautiful world with whom I peacefully reside,
There is no trace of filthy object in this great realm.
I want to sleep and sleep in my sweetest world forever,
Listen to me,
I plead you all not to wake me up,
I want to live with my beautiful thing in my dreamland,
Far away from the ugly world.
