My Evolutionary - Poem by Tlholohelo Twala

My heart lived my heart died. My emotions rejoiced, my emotions suffered a brutal release. My mind was in bliss, my mind is filled with doom. My world was a paradise, my world is isolated. My life was a calm ocean, my life is a tornado. My yesterday has brought starlit memories, my today is killing me inside. My body had such excitement, my body is numb. My feelings were so visibily joyful, my feelings are covered with a dark cloud. My eyes shone with such satisfaction, my eyes are gloomy with such disappointment. My smile was so convincing and real, my smile has faded away from my appearance. My forgiveness has forcefully dragged itself to you, but my regret will forever resent you.
