My Existence Poem by Amber Piercy

My Existence

My Existence

If you wipe away all the paint....
What do you see?
If the truth is very faint?
Could you exist it to be?

If you took off every layer of color.
What would you find?
Would your vision begin to blur?
Could you see into my mind?

My curves are like bars of gold.
Once uncovered they will shine!
My hands are for you to hold.
And forever be mine.

If you wiped off the dust.
And polished me to the core.
You could unbury so much lust.
That would leave you breathless for more.

After you examine my beauty.
And look deep into my soul.
You hold the key to unlock me.
Just turn it to make me whole.

I am truely with you forever.
And even past this lifetime.
You can write my name in leather.
Or curse me without a lifeline.
