My Father's Memory - Poem by me poet yeps poet

NICE memory of a father's life

I had the opportunity of living with him
only for first fifteen years
then ere he died
add on another last two years

Yes I did love him
a poor fellow was he

trusted every fool
thinking every one is like a
''GULAB KA PHOOL''

but aROSE
himself was he

So one day when he arose
the sun had not risen yet

in the darkest corner of his home
for eternal peace did he rest
to rise must have tried his best
but
to God he had to leave the rest

was earnestly thirsty of meeting him
one day

he must have thought
today
was the best day
it was 5th of May

Poet's Notes about The Poem

NOTE
I can't take a sabbatical from composing Poetry
38 still in pipe line as fresh ones
much older ones at rest
but here comes my memory
of a father so friendly
can anyone forget such
a ROSE
of fragrance
My Father was
just believe me

Living with father gives a great memory to leading life with love and care. Creating such an emotional poem is a great tribute to him. An interesting poem is beautifully penned...10 (Report)Reply
