My Final Goodbye Poem by Katellyne Baker

My Final Goodbye

As much as we were so in love, no one could be perfect, not even a dove.
I promised you love, You promised me salvation. Somehow our deal couldn't work out, so we had to Seize our destination.

I explained to you my future goals,
you screamed, 'Down with the earth.'

How different we were.

I couldn't have an embarrasment to society to be my love, you couldn't hold an angel to it's doom, So here i say, to tell you my love...My final goodbye.

I tell you i needed someone serious,
you laughed and howned and had nothing but a frown.
I rest my point, so you pick up your joint, and light it on fire as
you slip it between your lips.

i coldn't feel but a tear streaming from my eye,
so now i proudly tell you,
My final Goodbye.
