My Friend Caro Poem by Cheetah Girl

My Friend Caro

Rating: 4.8

I never saw her
Only her words
She told me of Uganda
Ugandan birds

I can hear her voice
Ringing out in my head
But her voice is faint
It seems sort of dead

She asked me to come
To Uganda she said
She knew I would love it
In her home town she said

I love her to bits
This girl I've never seen
The girl with her little sister
The child she's never been.
