There once were two pigs
Butch Cassidy and Sundance
They were best pen pals
And together they loved to prance
They were sentenced to death
But no crime had they done
They thought this unfair
And they sulked in the sun
The butcher he arrived
In his big white truck
And as much as the pigs protested
The pigs they were stuck
As they were carted along the road
The pigs they pondered
Of things did they
Of things they wondered
Butch Cassidy said to Sundance
I have an idea
So the pigs they discussed
Sundance cried mama mia
As the pigs were unloaded
Together they leapt
Over the head of the butcher
And through the fence they then crept
An icy river awaited
So together they plunged
They sank to the bottom
And along the sand they runned
They scrambled up the other bank
And shook themselves dry
And from the other side of the river
They heard the butcher cry
The butcher dialed 999
“Police we have two pigs on the run
Oh get the RSPCA
Oh quick get them to come”
The pigs they ran for days and days
For if they stopped
They sure would
Be got
They made the headlines
They made the news
And still they ran
What choice did they have to choose?
Sadly they were caught
And shoved into a van
The pigs were very tired
After all that they had ran
They thought that this really must
Be the very end
But no the sacred general public
Protested and became their friend
The general public moved the pigs
Into a grassy field
Now they can live quite happily
Without being grilled.
