There stood my grandma's home
Through the car small windows I glance
A nostalgic awareness, behold
No, I will never forget
In the blink of eyes
Of course she passed on
Still undefeated
Although the green paint fated.
I was amazed
It was as though yesterday
The family house I frequented
Eating game meat with my extended family
Where many were no longer alive
My Aunt's pink carnations I adored
Refreshes my mind
A memory to behold..
