My Heart - Poem by Thomas Conner

My Heart
My heart is filled with pain
My heart is gone and so are you
My heart was keeping me alive, then why am I here?
My heart is no longer here, but twenty people gave me a piece of theirs
My heart is not mine
My heart is theirs; I should go after mine again
My heart you have
My heart isn’t worth my time anymore
My heart is theirs, and theirs is mine
