My Heart Aches Badly (For You) - Poem by Michael P. McParland
My heart aches so very bad for you,
I just want to lie in bed and cry
endlessly all day to have you here.
I get up and do chores,
play games on my kindle and read to try and distract my mind.
Nothing works because all the while
I think of how I want you here and how
much better they would be with you by my side.
My heart is aching calling out to you,
the tears are close to coming from the
longing I feel so desperately for you.
My life is so very dull and dreary
without you to at least speak to and laugh,
even more though I want you here to hold
and kiss telling you how very much I love you
and how dearly you've been missed.
My heart aches so badly wanting you.
Can you feel the need I hold in store?
Even from far away I can hear and feel
your heart crying out to me and it makes my heart
cry out all the more as I want to hold and soothe you
my sweet sweet Angel I so deeply need and adore.
My heart aches because you're the one who
truly knows and holds it,
and for eternity I want to share with you and show it.
Please come take my hand and join me in
never ending ecstacy.
I love you deeply my one and only Angel Queen.
