My Inner Child Is Always At Work Poem by Ace Of Black Hearts

My Inner Child Is Always At Work

Welcome to my fantasy land.
Where the trees I create talk to one another.
A place where the world is always beautiful, always happy.
Romance dances between every blowing leaf.
And every death is good one, full of life, love and purpose.
Escaping a nightmare.
Escaping bad weather in a cavern with mushrooms that line the floor, walls, and ceiling.
They glow as if lead the way.
Deeper and deeper I go.
Lost in my thoughts.
Destroying all the atagnoztic plots.
No harm will ever come you here.
The walls are infinite, and always keep the darkness out.
Oh the loneliest of a creative mind.
Searching for an oasis, in an endless desolate desert.
I'll take a single rose and make grow to the fields of pretty thorned brambles are endless.
I grab ahold of every single branch just to feel the endless pain.
Making it real.
Painting a portrait that has no beginning or ending.
But so many secrets are held with in.
And all you have do is join me to discover them.
I will deny no one entry, and the world will be different for every single person.
A million different perspectives.
But the objective never changes.
I'm here to discover what it is like when all the weight has been lifted.
Just a small child at play.
And I'm here to stay.
