My Life Poem by Abekah Emmanuel

My Life

Rating: 4.3

My life is at stake
and my future is in the sky,
Poverty has become my plaque
but no one hears my cry.

I wonder everyday
If my life has a purpose,
but I don't have to delay
for the meaning of life is
life of purpose itself.

Look at life, how unpredictable it is,
sometimes smooth, at times rough,
You rejoice today, tomorrow you mourn,
So I have to be tough
and fight on,
for life is how you make it.

You rejoice today, tomorrow you mourn, So I have to be tough and fight on, for life is how you make it. A very realistic and balanced way of looking at life..... We all know that life is tough and is characterized by uncertainities for everyone! We cannot be sissy and fussy! We have to be tough and fight! Yes, to a great extent, our life is what we make of it! Buckle up to face the oddities of life and emerge victorious! I admire your maturity, Abekah!

Well written Abekah. If you have the opportunity, you must take it. Too many are, sadly, denied any opportunity. Inequality is man made.
