My Lost Cloud - Poem by samir mekkaoui

Yes I am afraid
Honey look at me
All I say do or tell
Had to love you

Yet a sound inside me
An ugly sound

Echoes in circles
Screams and kills
Saying he is leaving
You don’t grab him rainy nights

The curtains will stay part
And the room will miss the perfume
That cloud you named after him vanished

You will drive cold skies
And kiss the radio
Oh winter lady
Winter sad
