The shiniest diamond
the purest gold
the sweetest of honey i can't compare
to the profound and divine love
i bear for you.
On a scale
they'd have to bring two-
the height of my love-
one end is pinned to the ground
the other the almighty holds onto,
on a shiny day-
my love is the melody of the
humming bird
in a jungle my love is the
resonating tone of the woodpecker
and on a normal day my love
is the smile your thought evokes in me
and in heaven my love is the truth
the angels swear by.
