My Love Is Forever - Poem by megan miller

My head on your chest
your hands with mine
we lay on a cushion of clouds
floatng out of the darkness
and into the light
you wipe away my tears
and tell me it will be alright
'I will love you forever'
then our clouds drift apart
I gaze into your eyes
just one last look
You are gone, out of my life and,
i am left alone, but,
the memories of you and i will never die
and neither will
My love for you.
